I was traveling I-80 going east in Iowa, I hate I-80, but I thought this might be interesting. Trucking Museum in Walcott IA, next to a truck stop that is supposedly the largest. Maybe it is, I got lost trying to find the bathroom. I have visited many automobile museums, but never a truck museum. The museum was free, so compared to what I have spent seeing other museums, I dropped some dollars in the donation bucket.
I guess the biggest take away is how early in time they started manufacturing trucks. Trucks from the 1910’s and 20’s. So if you are passing by and want to take a break from all the trucks on I-80, stop in for a break.
