This site, formally known as myfoydvan, is dedicated to my Travels in the US.

I was lucking during my career to be able to travel around the world and see some very cool places. But I haven’t seen to much of America. Now with my retirement I want to travel and see more of America. When I have taken trips out west, the one thing I hated the most and was the most costly, hotel rooms. I decided to get an RV, a Class B, basically a van, I can now travel anywhere. So, starting December 2022, I was on the road seeing America for 12 to 18 months. It is now 2024 and I upgraded to another RV. Main reason was from vehicle side of the van, not the RV side. Unfortunately allot of these class B vans use the basic work van from the manufacturer, so allot of the driving comforts found in today’s newer vehicles does not exist in these vans. I also wanted a separation from the RV and vehicle part. I decided to move up to a truck camper, I still did not want a trailer to pull around, so I got myself a Tiny House that I haul around.
