The USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier is in Corpus Christi TX. All I can say is WOW, this was a great tour, doesn’t even compare to the USS Alabama tour I took. So much to see, has exhibits about all the Navy ships and planes. A special display for Pearl Harbor. Well worth the visit.
The exhibits focused more WW2. There were 5 ships named Lexington through the years, the first one was in 1776. I had just finished the HBO series, The Pacific, so many of the displays about the battles in the Pacific were familiar. One of the actual planes from the 1st movie Top Gun, is also on display. Just a wonderful day.
