Oh, what a day. Last summer when I was making my arrangements for Florida in January, I could have never planned for a rocket launch the day I would be touring the Kennedy Space Center. I reserved a campground across the river from the space center. Probably everyone has seen a rocket launch, but that’s just the picture, being here, you ‘Feel’ and ‘Hear’ the launch, even when its miles away.
I spent the day touring the Kennedy Space Center. So much to see and the memories it brought back as a kid. I grew up during the Gemini and Apollo programs, I remember watching Neal Armstrong walk on the moon, ‘Live’ in 1969. Or when the Space Shuttle Challenger blew up in 1986. Still was a wonderful day seeing all sites and learning about what is being worked on today and the future.
