Yes, that’s right a museum about cleaning. When I first came across this museum, I was ‘really?’ But then I thought, I am suppose to check out unique things, so I did. Now when I pulled up, the building looked like a 3 story office building, so that was a surprise. When I walked in I found out they had 3 floors and a basement, that’s allot of clean.. My expectation was low, so I was really surprised and it was very entertaining. If ever passing by this is a must stop, located in Pocatello ID.
Back in the 50’s, Don Aslett started a cleaning business to help pay for his college, and that launched his business. Through the years he became a cleaning expert, even wrote books. In 1984 he got the idea to start a Museum dedicated to clean and the rest is history. One floor was dedicated to just vacuums, while walking around I just started to chuckle seeing all the types of vacuums through history. They do local contests for kids to make things out of cleaning equipment, see the his and her bucket guards 🙂 This could be the most unique museum I have been too and enjoyed.
