I will be traveling the Natchez Trace this week, a slow drive. The Natchez Trace starts south of Nashville and ends at Natchez Mississippi. Allot of history, Meriwether Lewis from Lewis and Clark fame died traveling the Trace. Some believe he was murdered, some believe he committed suicide. My first stop is the Meriwether Lewis Campground and grave site. He died Oct 11, 1809. This is wonderful area. Plenty of picnic spots, allot of trails to hike and the campground is Free. It is all paved and has toilets, can’t ask for much more with the price tag of ‘Free’. In fact when I arrived the toilets were being cleaned. Very wooded area, which can be nice, but not good for my solar panels.
